Dr. Richard van Wylick is a full-time Associate Professor in General Pediatrics.
Dr. van Wylick is a graduate of the Queen's School of Medicine and completed his residency training in General Pediatrics at Queen's.
His work in General Pediatrics includes consulting general pediatric clinics in Kingston and Perth and he is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Program.
He is the Director of Faculty Development for the Faculty of Health Sciences; the Director of Student Progress, Promotion and Remediation for the School of Medicine; and Director of the Integrated Clerkship in addition to teaching residents and medical student on a variety of pediatric topics.
He is the Chair of the Department Quality Committee and the Department Resources Committee.
His research interests include medical education, the development of faculty roles and clinical studies in cystic fibrosis.
Dr. van Wylick enjoys time outdoors with his family, and reading biographies.
